EcoReliability Working Group

Trade Fairs/Events

The "EcoReliability - reliable and sustainable electronics" working group at Fraunhofer IZM in Berlin offers participants and industry partners a forum to discuss new challenges and solutions from research and practice.

Stannol Managing Director Marco Dörr will join Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Mathias Nowottnick from the University of Rostock with the lecture: "Tin between mining and recycling - a comparison".

The "EcoReliability - reliable and sustainable electronics" working group is the successor to the IZM's "System reliability of assembly and connection technologies" working group. While the focus of this group has so far been on the interactions between different components of packaging technology and their effects on the overall system, aspects such as sustainability and interaction with the environment are increasingly becoming the focus of research and development issues.

The EcoReliability working group is supported by the Fachverband Elektronikdesign und -fertigung (FED).

Focus topics of the event

  • Interactions between different AVT components and their effects on the overall system
  • Sustainability aspects
  • Research and development issues for interaction with the environment
  • Life cycle assessment (LCA)
  • Interdisciplinary exchange and discussions with experts
  • Exclusive access to information on current trends and research topics in the field of reliability and sustainability in electronics
  • Cross-application and cross-technology networking opportunities

The lectures and speeches will be held in German.
