GEN3 – AutoCHT

The world's first plate-based system that generates a controlled layer of condensation

The AutoCHT is a precision tool for the targeted simulation and control of localised condensation on electronic test boards during Damp Heat Testing (DHT). To achieve this, the temperature of the test board is regulated independently of the ambient temperature in the test chamber. It can be adjusted with an accuracy of 0.1 °C and is maintained at least 1 °C below the dew point.

In combination with the AutoSIR2+, the test system enables real-time monitoring of the effects of moisture on different PCB designs, trace spacing, and coatings. As a result, it provides detailed insights into moisture-related failures.
