Sustainability you can touch: Visit from Wülfrath grammar school

News

We recently welcomed another very special group to our company: around 30 pupils from Wülfrath secondary school came to visit us with their Swedish exchange partners.

During their stay, they wanted to find out more about our company, the world of solder and, above all, our commitment to sustainability. Their aim was to gain a better understanding of what sustainable business looks like in concrete terms in the German SME sector.

With the presentation "Tin: Mining versus Recycling – A Comparison", Managing Director Marco Dörr and Application Engineer Eileen Arndt provided insights into where tin comes from, how it is extracted and the important role recycling plays in the process.

The tour of our production facility and laboratory was a real highlight. Here we were able to show how we live sustainability on a daily basis – and why environmentally friendly processes are so important to us.

Thank you very much for the great interest and the exciting discussions – we were delighted to have you with us!
