Stannol is now a distributor for Roartis
Process and Protective Materials for Reliable Electronic and Industrial Applications
Stannol is expanding its product portfolio and is now a distributor for Roartis. The Belgian company develops and manufactures process and protective materials for electronic and industrial applications. Through this new partnership, Stannol offers its customers additional solutions for protecting electronic assemblies, creating high-performance electrical connections, and optimising demanding manufacturing processes.
Broad Portfolio for Demanding Applications
The Roartis portfolio includes, among other things, underfills and edge-bonding materials, UV adhesives and coatings, potting resins, sintering materials, as well as die-attach and conductive adhesives. The offering is complemented by materials for glob-top and dam-and-fill applications, thermal management, functional inks, fire protection, and structural bonding.
The products are used in numerous industrial sectors – ranging from aerospace, medical technology, and the semiconductor industry to the energy and automotive sectors, as well as industrial electronics. There, they help reliably protect electronic components and assemblies from thermal, mechanical, and other environmental influences and ensure their long-term performance.
“We are very pleased about the collaboration with Roartis. The process and protective materials complement our existing product portfolio well and enable us to support customers in even more applications throughout the electronics manufacturing process. Of particular interest is the combination of European development and production, high technical expertise, and the ability to tailor materials to specific customer processes,” says Nicolas Wiacker, Product Manager at Stannol.
European Development and Customised Solutions
Roartis develops and manufactures its materials in Europe. Laboratories and production facilities in Flanders enable rapid analysis of technical properties as well as flexible development processes – particularly for small and medium production volumes. Another focus is on developing customised materials for specific processes and requirements in electronics and industrial production.
The materials developed and marketed by Roartis comply with current international environmental and regulatory standards, including RoHS, REACH, WEEE, and the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive. Stannol supports customers in selecting suitable solutions and advises them on the respective technical requirements.
