Last week, we were visited by Dr. Ophelia Nick, a member of the German Bundestag representing the Green Party for the Mettmann North district. She was touring the district with her team and visited local businesses that are committed to sustainability.
During a tour of our production facilities, we were able to show her what we work on here every day. We also discussed how we approach sustainability as a company and what drives businesses in this area – but also what sometimes really holds them back.
One issue that topped the list: the challenges surrounding permits, requirements, and regulations. Being able to speak openly about such issues is incredibly valuable!
