In his presentation, Dirk Rüdell will discuss current developments in the solder paste sector: Due to the tense economic situation, more and more electronics manufacturers are looking for ways to reduce their costs. As a result, low-silver and silver-free alloys are increasingly becoming the focus of solder pastes. The decisive factor here is to consistently align the alloy with the requirements of the respective application.
At the same time, a broad product mix, high printing speeds, ever smaller components and other factors are increasing the demands on modern flux systems. This makes a carefully coordinated product selection all the more important - because in the end it all comes down to the right mix!
