Sustainable living: Stannol plants for the future

News

On 12 December, our Sustainability Officer Susanne Schlüter was part of an impressive campaign organised by Zukunftskreis Nachhaltigkeit HOCH3 (ZN³): Together with other members, she planted around 300 trees in the Solingen forest - a small but important step towards strengthening the forest for future generations.

With this campaign, we are facing up to the challenges posed to our forests by droughts, storms and bark beetles. Thanks to the support of the municipal nature and environment service, we were able to plant various tree species such as Douglas firs, oaks, wild cherries and rare species such as the wild service tree.

In addition to our active support, we also made a donation to the campaign to ensure that further projects like this can be realised.

A big thank you to the ZN³ and all those involved in making this project possible, such as the city of Solingen, Mr Schlösser and his team from the City Service Nature and Environment, as well as Jennifer Träptau and Isabel Herper for the organisation. We are delighted to be part of a network that doesn't just talk, but acts!
