The new standard: Stannol presents the sustainable solder paste SP6000
Stannol GmbH and Co. KG is introducing the new SP6000 solder paste at Productronica 2023 in Munich. SP6000 has been developed as a standard solder paste for use with the alloys TSC305 (Sn96.5Ag3Cu0.5) T4 and TSC105 (Sn98.5Ag1Cu0.5) T4. The special feature: With SP6000 solder paste, more than 85 percent of CO2 emissions can be saved compared to conventional solder pastes mainly by using recycled solder .
The solder paste contains a flux according to J-STD-004. The wetting properties have been optimised for all known lead-free PCB and component coatings. The very low residue after reflow is transparent and non-corrosive. SP6000 is part of Stannol's sustainable greenconnect series.
The advantages of SP6000:
- more than 85 percent CO2 savings
- very suitable for use with low silver content (TSC105)
- high contour stability, suitable for fine pitch up to 0.4 mm
- very good print quality after longer printer downtime
- reflow under air or nitrogen possible
- low mid-chip balling on passive components due to anti-capillary effect
- very good wetting on most surfaces
- RoHS compliant
Solder wire Kristall 605 completes Kristall series
The Kristall 605 solder wire will also be presented and complements the proven Kristall series from Stannol. It is characterised by its particularly low spitting behaviour and its bright No-clean residues. Kristall 605 is classified as REL1 and is offered in the alloys Flowtin and SN100CTM. These alloys are gentle on soldering tips, significantly increasing their life. Kristall 605 contains fair trade solder and is therefore also part of Stannol's sustainable greenconnect series.
The advantages of Kristall 605:
- Fairtin solder
- bright No-clean residues
- very good wetting properties for fast soldering
- low spitting behaviour
- mild odour
- chemically modified resin
Solar fluxes from Stannol
Stannol will also be presenting its solar flux range, which has been specially developed for use in the photovoltaic module industry. The fluxes EF160 Bio PV, EF180 Bio PV, EF200 Bio PV and X33-08i PV meet all the requirements of modern solar module production and are characterised by a particularly low solids content and excellent wettability on solar cells.
You will find Stannol at Productronica in hall A4, booth 470 together with our partners Gen3 Systems and Ibil Laser.
